MANAGERS INFORMATION

  1. SCHEDULE - Please check your game times often as they may change.

  2. RULES - USSSA rules will be used. Here are the Coach Pitch and T-Ball Specific Rules with notes

  3. CHECK-IN - All teams will need to check-in One Hour before their 1st game. There are a lot of items to be picked up. Teams can start checking in at 7:30am Wednesday at the fields. The park will not be open until 9:00am for teams to enter. We will be set up outside the park.
    Coaches Passes - Each Team will be give three (3) coaches passes. Any above this number will need to purchase an Adult Pass or pay the daily admission fee. Coaches must still stop daily to get a wrist band.

  4. LODGING FORM - REQUIRED BEFORE CHECK-IN - The SWLA Conventions and Visitors Bureau plays a huge role in blocking rooms for our events. This insures that teams have availability and a selection of rooms when attending events in SWLA. Please complete this form in order to assist the SWLA CVB in their efforts in continuing this service. You can bring to Check-In or fax t0 337-480-6427. CLICK HERE FOR LODGING FORM.

  5. OUTSIDE FOOD - DRINK - COOLERS - No outside food or drink is allowed by teams or spectators. Water will be provided in the dugouts for the players. Each team will be allowed to bring in one (1) team water cooler with a spout with water or sports drink mix. Bottle drinks are not allowed. These coolers must be checked in at the front gate daily and receive a cooler tag. Small coolers with "Florida Water" will be allowed but must also be checked at the front gate.

  6. ENTRY FEE - All entry fees are prepaid.

  7. ROSTERS - MAKE SURE YOUR ROSTERS ARE UPDATED ONLINE AT www.USSSA.com . Roster infractions will be dealt with harshly and could put the manger, players and others, in jeopardy of suspension. Copies of Birth Certificates should be available upon request at all times.

  8. WEATHER - Sports Productions will do everything within its power to play baseball. We will keep you posted at www.SportsProductions.net if any weather related issues arise. Tournament Format may be adjusted.

  9. WORLD SERIES FORMAT
    Home/Visitor     - Pool Play Games/Flip - Bracket Play Games/Highest Seed - If Game/Flip
    Pool Play     - All Teams Play 3 Pool Play Games. 1:05 Time Limit
    Championship Bracket - All Teams advance to Double Elimination bracket.

  10. EQUIPMENT - All equipment must meet USSSA Standards.

  2. PRE-ORDERED ITEMS PASSES AND MERCHANDISE - UPDATED only Wednesday July 7 at Frasch Park - CLICK HERE FOR MAP - CLICK HERE FOR PARK PAGE - 400 Picard Road, Sulphur, LA 70663 starting at 7:30am. The park will not open until 9:00am for teams and spectators.

  3. OPENING CEREMONIES
    Start Time - PLEASE CAR POOL - Wednesday July 7 - Arrive at McMurry Park at 5:00pm to begin pin trading to get lined up AT 5:45pm. Ceremonies will start at 6:30pm.

    Player Refreshments - Each player will receive a ticket for 1 free frozen treat.
    Pin Trading - Will begin at 5:00pm - CLICK HERE FOR PIN TRADING CHEAT SHEET. We will have them available at the park also.
    NOTES: PLEASE, NO CANDY, SEEDS, FOOD ON THE FIELDS FOR THIS EVENT. THIS DAMAGES THE ARTIFICIAL TURF.

  4. TEXT MESSAGES - To receive text message updates about the event, the team manager can log-in to the team site and set up your cell phone to receive for your division.

  5. PETS - are NOT allowed at any park.

  6. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED

  7. ADMISSION - Adult/$8, Youth/$5(6-12). When each spectator enters the park, they will be given a wrist band. These bands must be worn on the wrist or on the body clearly visible at all times. A new wrist band will be given each day. Event Passes may be purchased for $25/Adult and $20/Youth.

  8. LOST AND FOUND - If any items are found at the facilities, please turn them in at the Front Gate or to the Tournament Director. Let us know where they were when you found them.
