World Series & Nationals Qualifying
How to Qualify for the World Series

Teams must play in at least three (3) Events after March 1 and Two (2) of them being In the months of May and June AND meet the following requirements. Two (2) of the events must be in Louisiana. If a team plays their first event after June 1, they are subject to be bumped in classification if warranted.

In order to be eligible to receive a berth, a team must have their roster on-line prior to the event in which they qualified or have hard copy submitted to the Tournament Director. If their roster is not properly submitted then the berth will bump down to the next team.

Teams must participate in the State Championship to validate their World Series/National Berth.

Teams Must Earn a Berth and Meet The Above Requirements

HOW TO EARN A BERTH:  

League Play - In a USSSA Sanctioned League, each age group and class receive an automatic World Series Berth.

NIT Tournament Play - In a USSSA Sanctioned NIT Tournament, the Top Louisiana Team and the Top Out of State Team in all divisions receive World Series/Nationals Berth. Some events may offer different berths and may be advertised as such.

Ages 6U-8U and 15U-18U - World Series are Open to teams that participate in the State Championship.

Tournament Participation - If a team has made a legitimate attempt to Qualify and has fallen short, they may request an at-large berth from the State Headquarters. 

At-Large Berths - With the guidance of the Louisiana USSSA Baseball Directors, The State Director can award Berths that are deemed to perpetuate the program.
